The Iron & Marble Company ("The House of the Grate", Builders' and Plumbers' Merchants) were based at 33, 35 and 51 Victoria Street, Bristol. Their elegant arcaded Victorian premises at the intersection of Victoria Street and St. Thomas Street were demolished in 1974.

A copy of a slightly later [1940] issue of this same catalogue is held in the National Art Library of the Victoria & Albert Museum. However, no other catalogue from this company is listed by COPAC as being held either by the British Library, by the National Library of Scotland, by the National Library of Wales, or by any other of Britain's major university, academic or research libraries.
