Checklists of Victorian and Edwardian technical books
Early publishers' catalogues are a very useful source of information on sought-after and collected old and historical books within specialist subject-areas.
The catalogues and lists available below free of charge, scanned from the originals and provided here in PDF format, contain between them details of thousands of industry, trade, science and technology titles which were published over 100 years ago during the late Victorian and early Edwardian periods.
These catalogues are designed to be downloaded and printed out in A4 size as useful permanent hard-copy checklists and small bibliographies rather than read on-screen.
Just about all of the books mentioned in these listings are now collectable. However, whilst some are fairly easy to find on the British antiquarian and old book market, others crop up for sale only rarely and you've got to take any opportunity as it comes along.
