** Report on the 5-week visit in December 1944 and January 1945 by a large CIOS team to obtain information on all work done for the Germans by the principal French aircraft factories outside the Paris area during the occupation. 25 targets were visited.

Duplicated typewritten report in English, 10 x 7.5 inches, 25 x 19 cms. 192 pages including 50 figures, photographs and drawings, many folding.

Information is given on named companies, and some individual staff members, at Cannes, Marignane (Marseilles),Toulouse, Ossun, Tarbes, Bayonne, Biscarosse, Bordeaux, Chateauroux and Bourges; and at Suresnes, Neuilly and Chatillon in the Paris area.
The report was made during a period when accusation of collaboration during the German occupation was still to be feared. Post-war estimates were that many thousands of French collaborators were summarily killed by people within their own community.
